Piano Sonata No. 11 in A major, K. 331 – Rondo alla Turca (“Turkish March”) by W. A. Mozart

Mozart’s Rondo alla Turca is one of the most recognizable and lively movements in classical piano literature. Its rhythmic energy and bright, percussive melody evoke the sound of Turkish Janissary bands, blending playfulness with technical precision. I was fascinated by its joyful spirit and the challenge of keeping the rhythm crisp while maintaining a light, dancing touch.

This performance is part of my continuing effort to capture the piece’s sparkle and clarity. I welcome you to listen and follow along as I keep refining the phrasing and energy that make this music so delightful.
